Winemaking: The fruit was hand picked with the majority being destemmed and fermented in four ton open top fermenters. 10% whole bunches were included to add freshness and vibrancy to the wine. Aged in French oak for 11 months 20% of which was new.
Tasting Notes: A complex and concentrated Pinot Noir with aromas of cherry, dark spice and violets. On the palate black cherry and doris plum mingle with subtle spicy oak and silky tannins giving the wine structure while maintaining elegance.
