Whenua Honey, a story from a Maori family in New Zealand
In order to find our roots, we returned to Opotiki, the gathering place of Maori people, hoping to restore health to friends with gastrointestinal problems around the world through the New Zealand national treasure "Manuka honey" gifted by our ancestors. Thus, New Zealand Whenua Honey was born.
Whenua means "land" in Maori.
We always follow the original intention of "originating from the land and giving back to the people" to provide more job opportunities for brothers and sisters in the big family of the Maori tribe. At the same time, for every bottle of honey sold, Whenua will donate a portion to Opotiki's school to help children learn the Maori language, and then understand and promote our Maori culture. These unique connections and relationships of the Maori community derived from blood are what we cherish the most.
We firmly believe that the most special place of Whenua honey lies in its origin-the pure and pollution-free east coast of New Zealand's North Island. There is no telecommunications signal or even a power grid in the area where the beehives are placed. Here bees are free and they enjoy the most primitive natural environment.
We firmly believe that the beautiful and pure New Zealand is nature's best gift to us. The entire honey collection process uses traditional Maori craftsmanship, with zero addition and zero processing. So, take the honey out of the hive directly into the bottle and send it to you. This is the best way.
"From the Maori land, directly to you", protecting the health of every family is our greatest wish.
